I joined this site in belief that I can find out who's calling me! I have the phone number, and found the location of the # through an internet search, but no name. I just want to find the information but how? Help out a newbie!

For a single phone number look up we usually recommend using the reverse_phone search over at our main website

That sounds like you are looking up an unlisted number, a cell phone, or a number we don't have in our database. In those cases we will return the information that we can. These partial listings are marked with the 'carrier_only' flag set to true.

if someone is calling you private with no number showing how do you reverse it to find out who the person is playing on your phone.. If they block there number it should still be a way to reveal there number to see who is calling so does anyone know how to do this?

Apparently there's really no way to get the name or address for a cell phone caller even if you use Reverse #. If you know the company the phone # is listed with will that company give you any information. Surely there is some way to find the owner of a specific phone #

Hello. many of the phone numbers do not have names o address, they appear to be private. or a cellular.. in the way i cannot know who is calling

lisa7956, the API service is for people who want to develop web applications using the Whitepages.com data.
Signing up for an API key won't change the data you see on the website.

the map is not specific, not sure map is the cell phone tower locater or the area of the owner of the cell phone. anybody understanding here?

if the map is on our site (and from your comments I am unclear on this) then an unlisted number maps roughly to the center of town.

Thats a good question. I'm not sure how you would find that information outside of calling the phone company that owns the phone.
