Hello Dan. Why don't you just provide a simple solution to using your applications? I run several websites but I'm not a programmer and I just don't understand how to do this. I can write HTML and I have a general idea on what web pages work but your solutions are too complicated to implement for someone who is not a programmer. I think a ready made solution that woud require some copy and paste work would be much more popular.
hi.
i\m trying to create a reverse-phone webpage using javascript. i want to write the result on the webpage. how can i retreive the result from XML(name/address/provider) and writing them on the webpage??...
I am writing an application using Java to try and get current names, address, and phone numbers for all of our Ski Club members from the past 50 years in preparation for a 50th anniversary reunion. I discovered this API through Google and thought all my needs were going to be answered. I've incorporated the reverse phone lookup successfully and have scrubbed the file using this. For the remainer, I want to do a person lookup, but since the older members have spread far and wide, I need to look at all of those available. I consistently get more than 20 records in the requests and I thought I could programmatically use the "View all Results" link to return them to my program. But based on the comments I've read, this doesn't work. I could narrow my search to state and perhaps city, but that excludes a lot of candidates who could be the member(s) I'm looking for. I don't want to do 50 state searches for each past member and put them together.
Any suggestions? Any way to limit results returned based on first name and legitimate nicknames? Also, how flexible is the 20 responses, I seem to be getting more than that at times.
Greetings:
I really think you guys have something great, and are presenting it to the developer community well. I am looking forward to mastering your interface.

All of our searches at http://www.whitepages.com/reverse_phone are free and will not cost you anything.
